Harry Murphy Obituary

Harry B. Murphy Sr. CHESAPEAKE - Harry Burtron Murphy Sr., 87, completed his earthly journey Nov. 10, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II on the USS Elmore, was a member of the F.O.P. and retired from the Ford Motor Company after 33 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lillian McPherson Murphy; a daughter, Elsie Fagan; a son, Harry Jr.; granddaughter, Lisa Renee Robbins; great-grandchildren, Audrey and Lillian Robbins and was predeceased by a great-grandson, Zachary Robbins. A graveside service will be held Monday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Arrangements are being cared for by Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
