Hazel Keller Obituary

Hazel Whitehurst Keller VIRGINIA BEACH - Hazel Whitehurst Keller, 95, formerly of Virginia Beach, died peacefully in Banning, Calif., on March 25, 2010. Hazel was born in old Princess Anne County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Luther and Nellie Whitehurst. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Carl Gallup, Carl Godwin and John Keller; a sister, Gladys Allen; and a brother, Levy Whitehurst. Hazel lost three husbands to cancer but she continued to live her life to the fullest. She is now peaceful with her Lord and Savior. Hazel is survived by a son, Carl Gallup Jr. of Banning, Calif.; a sister, Bernice Day and her husband Jim of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and a very special niece, Elaine Day Pearson of Virginia Beach. A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 16, in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling arrangements.
