It will be a great loss to not see Howard anymore. He was always cheerful, knowledgeable and humorous. Always accompanying Shun Shun when she came to throw pottery or paint Sumie, they were wonderful partners in so many activities.

So sorry for your loss. Both of you have been a great asset to Norfolk Master Gardeners and to the Botanical Garden; accomplishments not to be forgotten.

Howard was a great volunteer. He loved the Greenhouse and the plants. When he and Shun Shun retired from volunteering, they left a void. Dear Shun Shun and family, I am so sorry for your deep loss.

Howard will be greatly missed. I worked with him at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Although I wasn't in Norfolk yet when he attended Master Gardener Classes, I do know him as one of the most knowledgeable gardeners I have met. Shun Shun, I will miss him as I know you do.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Howard. He was in the same year Master Gardener training class (1994)as me and I enjoyed many years working alongside of him and Shun Shun in gardening projects. He was a knowledgeable gardener and will be missed by the Master Gardener community.
