Isadora Harper Obituary

Isadora Harper PORTSMOUTH - Isadora T. Harper, 77, of the 5800 block of Branch St., was called home to be with the Lord Oct. 13, 2010 in Golden Living Nursing Home. She is survived by her sons, Aaron (Dorothy) and Alfred E. Harper, both of Portsmouth; four sisters, one brother, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Isadora also leaves to cherish her memory very, dear and special friends, Shirley and Olanda Gibson Sr. Viewing will be held Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 1 to 7 p.m. at J.T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Grove Baptist Church, 5910 W. Norfolk Road, Portsmouth, with Dr. Melvin O. Marriner officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. The family has entrusted the final care arrangements to J. T. Fisher Funeral Services. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.jtfisherfuneralservices.com.
