Ivan Palmer

Ivan Dale Palmer NORFOLK - Ivan Dale Palmer, 58, was born in Raleigh, N.C., March 20, 1952 and passed away April 5, 2010. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 33 years, Kathleen Mary Palmer. They lived in Norfolk for the past 12 years. He has two living aunts, Ms. Lila Creech and Ms. Fay Stafford, married to Melvin Stafford and three living uncles, Edgar, Leonard, and Tony Chambers, all of North Carolina. He also leaves behind close family friends, Christine and Dan Foote with three children, Michael, Matthew and Megan and the William and Sara Lincoln family of Columbus, Ga. Ivan Palmer served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict between 1969 to 1972. Ivan Palmer was a hardworking man, loved people, his family and friends. He loved walking their dog, Lucky, a mixed Rottweiler. Ivan will be sorely missed.
