Jack G. Belton
Virginia Beach - Cmdr. Jack Graham Belton, USN (Ret.), 91, passed away March 23, 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Belton; two sons, Ralph G. Belton of California and Blair N. Belton of Atlanta, GA; one stepson, Jack Eugene Shick of Virginia Beach, VA; five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Retired after 30 years of service, he was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve, Retired Officers Club (TROA) and the Navy League. He was also a member of Nimmo United Methodist Church.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Seaside and Memory Unit staff for their loving care of Jack.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nimmo United Methodist Church.
