My deepest sympathies to the family. I taught with James at Ruffner for 3 years. His sense of humor, always made me laugh. A good memory I will always carry with me is the time the kids started a fire with the lightbulb in his overhead projecter, and all he could do was laugh at them. I am sad for your loss, but am thankful I had the opportunity to meet him.

My memories of Mr.Long will always be of him helping some child as best he could throughout their educational process. May the work he has done speak for him. Sorely miss he will be but never forgotten.

To the family and friends of Mr. Long,
With sincere deepest sympathy may you find comfort in knowing that God is there to hold you close, and to heal your broken heart. Let the thought of those supporting you provide comfort during this difficult time. I will indeed miss my god-son, brother-in-Christ, and true friend. We are all so blessed to have memories of a very special person. Allow God's Word to be a blanket of comfort during this period of bereavement...."I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5 God knows best...
