To the Shackelford family, I wish to extend my sympathy for your loss. I had the honor of knowing your father from a very young age and I have so many great memories of him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. My only regret is that I could not be there with you.

Jimmy, you were not only my favorite boss but a mentor as well. You kept all of us who worked for you in line and set a good example for us who needed it. You will surely be missed!

To Boe and the Shackelford family, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to all of. I, unfortunately never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Shackelford, but through stories I've heard from Boe and some other friends I'm saddened I never did. He sounded like such a wonderful and loving man. May God be with you all at this hard time in your lives. With Love and Prayers, Mary Hughes

Uncle Jimmy as he was known by all,
This was an incredible man, very giving but yet strong in the deepest sense of the word. This is a man whom once saved my life, and whom will always be given the credit for who I am today. To the family , Thank you so much for sharing him and his time with all of young men and boys whom he helped mold into men. In the air conditioning industry , he is a legend , He and his ways were the key building points in the success of Smith and Keenes Strong domination of the industry. He is accredited to my success and the success of many boys who are now and have become prominent leaders , supervisors , entrepreneurs in this area. I truly owe who I am as a man and a leader and a father to him, I will always hold him in my heart and his memory will last forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing I was told by Bo that his health was not good. I wanted to get to see him before something like this happens but we get cought up in our lives and don't take the time to do the things we should do. I know he will be missed alot by his family and friends. He was a wonderful and careing man. It doesn't seem like that long ago I was babysitting for Bo and the rest of the kids when you stop and think about your past time has just seemed to fly by. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love you

Pops, I have always looked at you as my Father I didnt have. You have instilled in me how a man should act and hold a career, and because of those things you have always taught me i am the man i am today. I am so saddened to hear that you passed away but I know that you are no longer hurting and that you are in Heaven with my daughter Skylar. I know you are giving her a run for her money! I will miss you pops and I cant thank you enough for being the hero, role model, friend that have been to me. Thank you for never giving up on me and always showing me the way. I know I will always have you as my guardian angel!
