Jamie Loftin Maia BEAUFORT - Jamie Loftin Maia, 33, of Beaufort, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010. She was born in Portsmouth to Franceta McCready Loftin and Giles D. Loftin. She is survived by her mother, Franceta "Fran" McCready Loftin of Beaufort; father, Giles D. Loftin of Indiana; brother, Robert William "R.W." Loftin and wife Virginia Ann "V.A." of Richmond; nephews, Robert William "William" Loftin Jr. and John Kenneth Elzinga "John" Loftin of Richmond. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at First Baptist Church in Beaufort with the pastor, the Rev. Michael Fields, officiating and the Rev. John Thompson, assisting. The committal service will follow in Ocean View Cemetery.
