Jean and Blanco Wallin Jr.

Jean G. Smith Wallin Blanco W. Wallin Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Jean Gwinn Smith Wallin, born Sept. 21, 1928, died April 19, 2011 and Blanco W. Wallin Jr., born July 15, 1923, died five months earlier Nov. 24, 2010. Jean and Blanco were married April 29, 1950. Jean's career included working with Virginia Beach City Schools in guidance and counseling. Blanco was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had a career in plumbing and heating supply sales. They were preceded in death by their daughter, Margaret Wallin Worrell. They are survived by their brother Jack W. Wallin, sisters-in-law Colette Wallin and Peggy Wallin, their daughter Karen Sinclair, son-in-law Chris Sinclair, five nieces, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A memorial service for Jean and Blanco and a celebration of their lives will be held at King's Grant Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach, on Saturday, May 21 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to King's Grant Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach.
