Joan Hudson Obituary
Joan A. Hudson VIRGINIA BEACH - Joan Anderson Hudson, 58, of the 1000 block of Ferry Plantation Road, passed away Feb. 11, 2008 in Bayside Hospital. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Naomi Hudson. She was employed with Hall Automotive as a bookkeeper and was a member of Old Donation Episcopal Church. She is survived by her sister, Jean Hudson of Virginia Beach. A funeral will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Old Donation Episcopal Church with The Rev. Bob Randall officiating. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Old Donation Episcopal Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Dear Jean,
I worked with Joan at Hall and I wanted to send you my deepest sorrows.Joan was a wonderful person and she will be greatly missed.I wrote a poem a long time ago that I would like to share with you.

I have worked with Joan for almost 4 years now & I enjoyed every day with her. Joan was such a kind and caring person, she was a testimony of how easy it is to be kind to all. I will truly and deeply miss Joan, she was a special lady.
