John E. Van Buren

Chesapeake - John Edward Van Buren, 87, of Chesapeake, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
Mr. Van Buren was predeceased by his wife, Margaret B. Van Buren. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S Navy and was in the Seabees. He graduated from Duquesne University in 1950 and worked as a pharmacist for Peoples Drug Stores for 40 years.
Survivors include his son, Bradley J. Van Buren and wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Christopher M. Van Buren and wife Brandy, Matthew B. Van Buren, Stephen P. Van Buren; a great-grandson, Joshua Van Buren and a step-son, Gary Martin.
A memorial mass will be conducted at 11 a.m., Mon., Dec. 17, 2012 at St. Stephen, Martyr Roman Catholic Church, Chesapeake. The inurnment will follow in Our Lady Queen of Heaven mausoleum.
