John was a wonderful and strong person like a big "bear", however he was gentle like a teddy bear. He was my friend and one of the best co-workers that anyone could ever wish for. (John-I went to the track on Friday and played the ponies for us and had a cold Miller...sorry to say, we didn't win) John made such a great impression in my life and I will never forget him.
Thank you John! Myra and family, my sincere thoughts are with you.

John was remembered at a special mass, lead by Fr. Robert Deehan on Sunday, May 2nd at at 10:00 AM at St. Gerard Majella church in Canton, MA. His grand nephews Joseph G.(named for John's father), and Anthony Luca, and grand niece Isabella R. Luca carried the gifts to the alter, escorted by John's sister Jeannie, in what was a memorable service. Our kids also lit prayer candles in remembrance. Even from a great distance, your absence brings sadness, yet I have only good memories of you. God Bless you and our family. Amen.

As the eldest Lombardozzi cousin, I am especially saddened to say goodbye to my younger family member. My memories of he and cousin Richie running into the lake at my parents house in NH still bring a smile to my face. We are diminished by his passing.

My Uncle was like a dad to me. I have warm memories of meeting him at the airport after long absences and putting my hand out for a shake and getting a big bear hug instead. Visits to VA as a kid, NE clambakes and the racetrack were always celebrated. Thank you all, whom I don't know for caring for him and his family in his final days, and I wish him and you peace and sincere gratitude.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. John is one of those people that came into my life that left an impression that will last a lifetime. We, at Hiller Systems, were very fortunate to have found him and I personally am a better person for knowing him.
We will always remember him and his drawer of chocolates!
