Joseph Moore Obituary

Joseph M. Moore VIRGINIA BEACH - Joseph M. Moore, 77, of Virginia Beach and formerly of Revere, Mass., died Sept. 29, 2010. Born in Somerville, Mass., he lived many years in Revere and was the son of the late Roger W. and Dorothy (Dwyer) Moore. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Prince); devoted father of James of Virginia Beach, Robert of Revere and Karen McEleney of Medford; dear brother of Mary Palmariello of New Hampshire, Carole Doherty of Tewksbury and the late Roger W. Jr., Raymond, Dorothy Moore, Claire Winter and Paul Moore. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at Paul Buonfiglio & Sons - Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere, on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. A funeral Mass will be held in St. Anthony's Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are today from 4 to 8 p.m. He was an Army veteran and member of Telephone Pioneers of America, IBEW Local 2222 and the American Legion. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
