Josiah Himmelwright Obituary

Josiah B. Himmelwright VIRGINIA BEACH - Josiah Bryan Himmelwright, infant son of Gabel and Gayle Himmelwright, was called to heaven on July 16, 2010 after 53 miraculous days on earth. Josiah was born May 23, 2010 and spent his special little life constantly surrounded and cuddled by his loving family and friends and, in turn, strengthening their faith in the Heavenly Father. He was also cared for so diligently the entire time by the incomparable NICU staff at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Josiah loved to be held and sung to and to have his head stroked. He loved his pacifier and the sound of the ocean. He is survived by his parents; his sister, Reagan Katherene; his brothers, Ryan Matthew and Joshua Cade; his grandparents, Gabel and Linda Himmelwright and Bryan and Patsy Couch; many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral will be held in Calvary Presbyterian Church on July 20, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mark J. Bender officiating. In lieu of flowers, Josiah's family would be honored to have you support CHKD at P.O. Box 2156, Norfolk, VA 23501-9873, or at www.chkd. org/Giving/Tribute. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.altmeyer. com.
