Kenneth Pittman Obituary

Kenneth R. Pittman MIDLOTHIAN - Kenneth Ray Pittman, 81, passed away Nov. 2, 2010, surrounded by his family. Born in Portsmouth on July 6, 1929, he was the son of Stephen G. Pittman and Maggie B. Willis. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley K. Pittman; three children, Karen Finch, David Pittman and his wife Jennifer, Richard Pittman and his wife Cynthia, all of Midlothian; seven grandchildren, Megan, Erin and her husband John, Matthew, Ryan, Shannon, Kenneth and Daniel. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and later in life retired from the C & P telephone company after 35 years. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, where a funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment in Dale Memorial Park.
