Dear Mary Lee, Ginny, Terry and Matt,
John told me about Leonard's death. I was so sad to hear about his passing. I know we've all lost touch since we lived in Taylorwood, but I think of you all and fondly remember the good times we had there. When I was a young teenager, I had shoulder length hair and had it cut off into a short pixie cut. Later that day, I came to your house and Leonard/your Daddy said: "Now, that's a haircut!!!!" I will always remember his smile and his hearty deep laugh.
I regret that I will not be able to attend the memorial as I will be out of town. Please know I am thinking of you all and send my love.
I am living in Yorktown with Ken, my 3 cats (no children) and still working at the shipyard (31 years). Mother died six years ago as you likely know and Daddy is in a nursing home in Portsmouth. We don't expect him to make it through the year.
