Jimmy, I was shocked and sadden to hear of your Mother's passing. Your parents held a special place in my hearth. As neighbors she encouraged and advised me as I'm sure she did others who she came in contact with in life. Hang on to the memories of your life with her and know that she is in a much better place....she's with her Big Brother Jesus. Keep your hand in God's hand.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Cradle. She will always be remembered by me as one of those "Green St" Mother's that kept us all in check. It's so painful to lose your Mother, your best friend, but your Faith in God will carry you through this difficult time. You & your family have my deepest Sympathy, and give my Love to all.

I's like to extend my sincere sympathy to your family. Mrs. Cradle was one of my favorite teachers at Cradock. One of her lessons was to memorize the poem "A Psalm of Life" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. That poem has stuck with me through the years and I think of her everytime I see it. I thought of that poem upon hearing of your loss and hope you find comfort in knowing that she definitely left her "footprints on the sands of time" with all who knew and loved her. She was truly a great lady.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Cradle. She taught my sisters and me in the Riddick Weaver School system in the 60's, and was always one of my favorite sisters. Whenever I saw her at Zion, we'd always recall her birthday celebration in 1963, when JFK's assasination announcement interrupted the festivities. Rest well, dear lady.

Jimmy, I'd like to extend my sincere sympathy to you and your family upon the loss of your mother. Not only was she an outstanding educator, but she shared her passion for helping others in a kind and loving way. Please know that "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal."

Jimmy, Joyce, Mrs. Cherry, Mozelle and all other family members, Mrs. Cradle will be missed. She and my mom were like sisters and Jimmy, you were like a brother to me. She was always so nice to me when I was growing up and had that special smile all of the time. May God Bless you and your family not only in this time of sorrow but always.

Jimmy, your Mom was the best grade school teacher I had and I loved her very much. She tutored me in the hospital and at home when I was 9 or 10 yrs old. I had had a serious surgical procedure and would have missed a yr of school if it hadn't been for your mom's love and caring. To the rest of the family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I will miss seeing her with her sister at church each Sunday.

Sorry to hear of your great loss. Ms. Lucille will be greatly missed by all. She was a great inspiration to my family. She taught one of my sisters and she would always ask about my brother Bill. She was a caring and loving person. Whenever we would meet she always had a genuine concern about other members of the Freeman Family from Chestnut Street. To the family we say, Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning. Keep your hand in the Master's hand. He will direct your paths.

Sorrowfully,
Linell Freeman Orton and The Freeman Family

To the family of Miss Lucille, it was a blessing to have her as a neighbor. She had a most beautiful spirit. She loved the Lord. She often encouraged me when I would call. She is missed. I rejoice in knowing that she lives forever with the Lord. Sebrina (Green St)
