Lillian Souder

Lillian F. Souder VIRGINIA BEACH - Lillian F. "Toni" Souder, 90, passed away March 26, 2010. Lillian was born in Oakland, Calif., where she grew up in a naval family. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, W.H. Souder Jr., U.S. Marine Corps. They traveled extensively throughout his career and established a home in Virginia Beach after his last duty station at NAB Little Creek. She was predeceased by her son, Robert. She is survived by her son, John and his wife Lynn; her son, William and his wife Barbara; her son, David and his wife Elizabeth; and her daughter, Sharon. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and gentle touch will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lillian's name to the American Heart Association.
