Louise P. McLaulin ELIZABETH CITY - Evelyn Louise Paschall McLaulin, 80, of the 100 block of Stacie Drive, and formerly of Norfolk, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 in her home. Louise, a native of Durham, N.C., was the daughter of the late Mallie Jether Paschall Jr. and Mary Evelyn Vaughan Paschall and the wife of the late John Claude McLaulin Jr. Louise was a registered nurse. Mrs. McLaulin is survived by four daughters, Rebecca and husband William Corbell of Elizabeth City, Catherine and husband Roger Dallman of Bristow, Va., Nancy McLaulin and Cynthia Yodzis of Suffolk, and Susan and husband David Durovy of Palmyra, Va.; two sons, John McLaulin and wife Sylecia Janutolo of Boston, and David and wife Nancy McLaulin of Chesapeake; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at Twiford Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church St. in Elizabeth City, with Grace Wood officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Danville, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and also in the lobby of the funeral home immediately following the service. Other times the family will be at the residence, 119 Stacie Drive, Elizabeth City.
