Norma Dyer Obituary

Norma G. Dyer NORFOLK - Norma G. Dyer, 89, of the 6000 block of Newport Crescent, passed away April 15, 2010 in Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Wholman and the widow of James E. Dyer Sr. She worked with Shomier's Antiques and The Country Store in Virginia Beach. She was passionate about her work with antiques and was a Williamsburg Restoration contributor. She attended Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son, James E. Dyer Jr.; three grandchildren, Patrick James Dyer, Blake Alexander Dyer and Christian James Dyer; and a great-granddaughter, Michelle Dyer. All services will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
