Paul Grauzlis Obituary

Paul J. Grauzlis VIRGINIA BEACH - Paul Joseph Grauzlis, 92, of Southside Road, died Oct. 21, 2010 at his home. Mr. Grauzlis, a native of Carverton, Pa., was the widower of Clara T. Grauzlis. He was a carpenter, a member of the Philadelphia Carpenters Union, the Polish Union of Pennsylvania, a lifetime member of Delaware County Pennsylvania Firemen's Association and a devoted Catholic. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, David W. Grauzlis and Kendall L. Grauzlis. Survivors include his two sons, Bernard Grauzlis and wife Dawn Grauzlis of Oxford, Pa., Robert J. Grauzlis and wife Karen Nix Grauzlis of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren, Dr. Nancy Behram of Potomac, Md., Robert J. Grauzlis of Chesapeake, Meghan M. Grauzlis of Philadelphia, John P. Grauzlis and Catherine Sachs both of Folsom, Pa., Belinda F. Wallis of Austin, Minn.; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, by the Rev. David W. Cupps. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. The family will receive friends at the funeral Monday one hour prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
