Peggy Dunbar Obituary

Peggy J. Dunbar PORTSMOUTH - Peggy Joann Dunbar, 74, of Wyoming Ave., passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2010 in a local hospital. She was born April 29, 1935 in High Point, N.C., and retired as a meat wrapper for the Naval Commissary in Portsmouth. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Ray Dunbar; a daughter, Pat Salmon; a son, David Outland and wife Patricia; a brother, Doug Grantham; and five grandchildren, P.J. Pierno, Andy Ballard, Jessica Salmon and Mia and Katie Outland. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4416 Expressway Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
