Mary, Charlie, Josie, Ellen, Wade, Tony, Adam, Brent, and Lois,
It has been a blessing knowing Mary, and Ray since 1988 when I started driving bus. Ray was one of the finest men of God I've ever known. Your marriage has been a beautiful testament to God's view of marriage, especially in this day when so many would abolish the "institution." Keep close to God at this devastating time, and may God bring you peace, comfort, and soothing balm for your heartache. Keep your bountiful memories of Ray close to your hearts. I wish we could have been with you Sunday; but please know you continue to be in our prayers and thoughts. With love,

Janet (Porter) Holden

Although you were only in our lives a short time, we feel we've known you much longer, and you & Mary have felt like family from the beginning. Our biggest regret that you have left us so soon is that you didn't get to make your trip to Southport. We were so looking forward to showing you around & taking you out on the boat! But we know that your pain & suffering is now over, & that you are with our gracious & loving God and in his tender care. We will miss you & keep you & Mary and the rest of the family in our prayers.
With loving sympathy,
Jeanne & Robert Potter

Two lives cut way to short. Don and I felt very privileged to have met you when we did. Our guys were too busy fighting their own battle to have the time to get to know each other well. Mary, you and I have much in common and can share our memories of them with many others . I loved the visits with you and Ray and look foreward to knowing him better through you. We have been blessed by gods grace and the strength that he has given us. Our guys are in good hands now and we will carry them in our hearts forever. I love you both. Kay

Uncle Ray I'll miss you to. I remember stay with you and Aunt Mary, when I was just a kid. I alway look forward of stay with you both in Hampton. I'll alway
remember staying up to see Gunsmoke with you watching Matt Dillon draw his
gun , Then you would say it time for bed, saying the other guy drew first. Those
were the day.
At least you are at peace now,and the Good Lord will welcome you home..
God bless you Uncle Ray.
Aunt Mary to you and all the family God Bless you all's.

Gonna miss you, Dah. In my 27 years I've probably spent more time at your house than at my own home, truth be told. We traveled many (probably thousands of) miles together with me shotgun as navigator.I'll remember sharing Hardee's chocolate sundaes, with you eating the vanilla and leaving me the syrup because I didnt care about anything but the syrup. Gonna miss our trips to Carolina and pushing Nana's buttons when I come by for visits. Don't worry, I'll still push them for you when I come see her. I love you and will miss you, and I'll try to always live by what you told me: "Tell the truth and let the good Lord love you." Sometimes thats good and bad, as it tends to get me into trouble sometimes, but I'm not too worried about it. You and Dad try to have some fun up there. Love, Bo (Adam)
