I remember Bob when we were just kids growing up in Jacksonville,NC. He was older than me but always had time to show me how to tie a knot or help set up a tent in the back yard. I'm sure he was an amazing Dad. He always had time for you,I never forgot that. Although I havent seen him in many years,I'm still deeply saddened. To his family,our prayers are with you.

To the family of Bob Aaron we are deeply saddened to hear of Bob’s passing; our thoughts and prayers are with you. From the moment we met Bob back in the 70’s when I was just a young boy in Virginia Beach, he became part of our family. He was always so full of life, and so much fun to be around. The stories of Chips he used to make up and tell us as we sat around at night have remained with us for all these years. Bob was and still is a great man; he has touched our hearts and minds forever. He will truly be missed and will always be with us.

Aaron,Des, and Max, I have no words that can express my grief, your Dad is one of the best men I've ever known and a wonderful friend. He always spoke with such love and praise for each one of you . It was a terrible and profound shock to find out that Bob passed away this weekend. I have known Bob since 1978 when I began work at the SWCB office in Kilmarnock. He was a truly special person, and always a joy to be around. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. I know he had to be one of the world's best dads. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this tragic time.

I am still in shock. My family and I have known Bob for many years. Our children went to school together and we have shared many good times over the years. I will miss his sweet spirit and pray God's grace on Desiree, Aaron, Max, Rebecca and all of his family and many, many friends who have all been touched by this wonderful man. God Bless you, friend!

We knew Bob from all his years in Sandbridge. I shared many conversations with him at the market over a cup of coffee. He will be deeply missed! Our prayers go out to the family.
