Robert Reese Obituary

Robert Lee Reese CHESAPEAKE - Robert Lee Reese, 88, of the 3000 block of Darius Court, was called home to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 15, 2010. Robert was born in Drewsville, Va. He retired from Northwestern Railroad with more than 30 years of service as a welder. He was a trustee and longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church. Robert leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Annie M. Banks (Elbert "Ouzts"); two sons, Robert L. Reese Jr. and Claude E. Reese (Betty); two sisters, Iona Bembery and Pinky Boyd; and a brother, Edward Reese. He also leaves to cherish his memory 11 grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20, at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake, from 4 until 7 p.m. A life celebration service will be held at noon Thursday, Oct. 21, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 525 Dinwiddie St., Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements.
