Robert Scott Obituary

Robert Alan Scott CHESAPEAKE - Robert Alan Scott, 57, formerly of Chesterfield County, Virginia, and locally of Hornsea Road, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 with family by his side in Moyock, N.C. He was born in Norfolk to Robert M. and Faye Scott and was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia W. Scott. He served his country in the United States Army, was a painter by trade with his brother, at Sound Pointe Cabinets and also had a real love of music having played with various local bands. Besides his parents he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Marie Scott; a sister, Darla Bray Brown; two brothers, David and Phillip Scott; and a special friend, Maureen McCoy. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake, with burial to follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and at his parent's home on Hornsea Road at all other times.
