Psalm 90:10 states, "In themselves the days of our years are seventy years, And if because of special mightiness they are eighty years..." Although Mr Smith lived a long life this does not relieve the pain that is felt by her loved ones. May our Heavenly Father give these ones strength and comfort through the Scriptures. Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of your loss.
