Ronald Bailey Obituary

Ronald Gene Bailey VIRGINIA BEACH - Ronald Gene Bailey, 49, passed away at home in Virginia Beach on April 19, 2010. He was born in Woodland Hills, Calif., to Ralph and Ethel Bailey. Ron was a surveyor for the National Geodetic Survey for the past 20 years and he appreciated that the position allowed him to travel to all but one of the 50 United States. Ron is survived by his wife, Laura Leche Bailey, who after having met four years ago married in October 2009. In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his daughter, Neisha Bailey-Buck (Corey) and son, Randy Glen Bailey; his mother, Ethel Bailey; three brothers, Ralph, Rick, Mike; one half sister, Cindy; and his four grandchildren, Victoria, Nicholas, Ethan and Leah. He was predeceased by his father. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 24, in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The family will receive friends Friday also at the Kempsville Chapel, April 23, between 7 and 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the City of Virginia Beach Emergency Services or your favorite charity.
