Russ Gribble Obituary

Russ Gribble VIRGINIA BEACH - Russ Gribble, 57, passed away Aug. 31, 2009, at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He honorably served as a captain in the U.S. Army and was a graduate of Georgia Tech "IE 1974." He was the co-owner and president of Coastal Material Handling in Suffolk. He enjoyed 31 years as a private pilot in aviation and was a collector of many antique British cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Bobbie Gribble; two sons, Wayne Russell Gribble and John Bradley Gribble; a daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Gribble; his mother, Myrtle Palaez; and his father- in-law, retired U.S. Army Col. Wayne O. Hauck. A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 18, at 2 p.m. at Old Donation Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach.
