Selma Inez Crain CHESAPEAKE - Selma Inez Crain, 89, was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010. She was a native of Pound, Va. She had lived in Chesapeake for 51 years. She worked for the Chesapeake Public Schools. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, Leonard V. Short; her parents, Andrew and Gertrude Mullins; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by three daughters, Joan DePriest and Glenda Moseley of Chesapeake, June Harris of Falls Church, Va.; and one son, Larry Shortt of Chesapeake; two sisters, Betty Rheinbolt of Mount Carmel, Tenn., and Theda Dingus of Zanesville, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 524 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
