Shirley Williams Obituary

Shirley P. Williams VIRGINIA BEACH - Shirley Pearson Williams, 73, of Edwin Drive passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, in a local hospital. Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Pearson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, George E. and Albert E. Pearson and a grandson, Dustin. She was a member of the Norfolk Salvation Army and loved playing in the band. Shirley is survived by four sons, Ralph E. Williams and wife Mary, Roy E. Williams and wife Kathy, Ronnie E. Williams and Robert J. Turlin; sister, Jean Mosteller and husband Sonny; brother, Richard P. Pearson and wife Colleen; three grandchildren, Bonnie, Grace and Eric and one great-grandchild, Lyla. A memorial service will be conducted at the Salvation Army on Raby Road Sunday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. by Major Mark Bell. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norfolk Salvation Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
