This was sent to my Mom when Dad passed away:
I THOUGHT OF YOU
I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence I often speak your name,
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part
God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart

Dad, i love you very much, and i will miss you greatly.
I'm so glad to have been by your side (as long as Jhet, Lia and Chase) in your final moments
There are no words to describe the loss i feel.
You're an honorable and admirable man.
You are the best husband, father, and grandfather there ever was and ever will be.
I love You,
Shawn
