Thomas H. Hinton
Chesapeake - Thomas H. Hinton, of the 1000 Block of Latham Street, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Chesapeake General Hospital.
Thomas was born in Norfolk County to the late Walter McCoy and the late Ruth Jackson Bazemore. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Robert Hinton.
Thomas was member of Providence United Church of Christ where he sung in the Male Choir.
He is survived by five daughters, Pamela, Renee, Dawn, Cindy and Wendy; thirteen sons, Jeffrey, Tommy, Stephon, Quinton, Antonio, Martin, Tommy, Tione, Omar, Lance, Joey, Scotty and Jeramy; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Samuel Hinton; one aunt, Evelyn Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Noon in Providence United Church of Christ in Chesapeake with Rev. Dr. Isaac L. McDonald presiding. The body will be placed in church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
Viewing will be on Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be lining up and receiving guest at 1003 Latham Street, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Condolences can be offered to the family at
