Thomas Keiningham Obituary

Thomas C. Keiningham VIRGINIA BEACH - Thomas C. Keiningham, also known as "Billy Cunningham," 95, of Marion Manor, passed away May 28, 2009, in Sentara Bayside Hospital. A native of Portsmouth, he was the son of the late William and Nora Keiningham and the widower of Shirley Hewitt Keiningham. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Billy is survived by his daughter, Shelia Marie Keiningham; his son, Thomas C. Keiningham Jr., all of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Thomas C. Keiningham III of Virginia Beach, Summer Elliott and husband William of Ponte Vedra, Fla., Amber Keiningham of Jacksonville, Fla., and Whitney Span of Virginia Beach; and one great-grandchild, Morgan Elliott of Florida. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, with Father Cristiano Brito, O.S.B. officiating. The burial will be at later date in Cudworth Cemetery in Wanchese, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
