Virginia Beach - Tony Annarino, 81, passed away on December 12, 2013. Tony was born in Norfolk, VA on May 8, 1932, and was the son of the late Tony and Curtis Annarino. He was also preceded in death by his four sisters.
Tony followed in his father's footsteps by taking over the family business which was established in 1938, Annarino Plumbing. He kept the business running late into his 70's still handling the day to day plumbing work. It was when Tony hung up the tools that he began to struggle with declining health. Tony will always be remembered for his jokes, and for never calling anyone, even his family, by their actual name. Tony loved to spend time on the back porch while looking at the water accompanied by his dog Holly.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Carole, daughters, Tracy Hill (Charlie), Jayne Luna (Vic), and son Clark Annarino, a sister, Minnie Ludwick, his grandchildren, Curtis Hill (Yen), Ashley Childers (Chris), Andrew Luna (Fiorela), Kevin Hill (Tatiana) and Preston Annarino and great grandchildren Ruby, Ella, and Maddie.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday December 16, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Rd Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be held in St Nicholas Catholic Church on Tuesday at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a
