William Campbell Obituary

William H. Campbell SUFFOLK - William Hudson Campbell, 54, passed away June 24, 2010. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Walter William Campbell and Roseatta Tuttle Campbell. He was a nuclear pipe fitter for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. William is survived by his wife, Robin Jeanette Campbell of Suffolk; daughters, Stacey A. Shoup (Chris) of Covington, Va., and Jenny N. Meador of Roanoke, Va.; grandchildren, Autumn Marie Shoup, Victoria Taylor Weeks, Marcus J. Meador, Khloe Beche and Alex Reed; brother, Robert J. Campbell Sr. and wife Peggy; nephews, Robert J. Campbell Jr. and wife Kristen and Matthew W. Campbell; mother-in-law, Edith J. Thompson; other in-laws, Frankie and Cindy Holloway, Donna and Buddy Lemon, Shannon and Hope Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake with Pastor Dave Mros and Dr. Walt Coles officiating. Friends may join the family at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk on Sunday for visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com. The family would like to give special thanks to the numerous neighbors and friends for their love and support.

So sorry for your lost. He had been fighting a battle for a good while. We worked together as pipefitters for a long time until I retired in 2005. Your family is in my prayers.
