William Harmon Sr.

William P. Harmon Sr. VIRGINIA BEACH - William P. Harmon Sr., 71, of the 1000 block of Pebblewood Drive, passed away May 20, 2010. He was born July 17, 1938 to the late Florence and Walter Harmon in Newark, Md. William was a member of Calvary Revival Church, Norfolk and was a previous member of Calvary United Ministry Church, Berlin, Md. He was employed with BAE Systems for five years as a security officer. He is survived by his wife, Alice Harmon; two daughters, Theresa Dixon (Dechond) and Tabatha Harmon; one son, William P. "Juny" Harmon Jr.; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Adams; four sisters; one brother; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Revival Church, 5833 Poplar Hall Drive. Pastor Robert T. Mason will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery, Berlin, Md. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Ave. Chapel.
