Wishing my little angel a happy 8th birthday. I know there will be a grand celebration in your honor. With each passing year, you are missed more and more by your entire family; especially me. I just wish that I had had one more chance to tell you that I love you and hold you in my arms. I know you know this Willie because I say it every day and it goes from my mouth to your ears through God and Jesus. Even though I never got to meet you during the short time that you were with us, I still have the memories of hearing your voice and talking with you on the phone. Along with those memories, I have pictures of you as you grew up throughout those years. I will always cherish those talks we had on the phone and hold dear to my heart the pictures I have of you. You were very special to me william and I will miss you terribly. Knowing that your in a better place now, brings me comfort. Always remember that grandma loves you and that we will see each other for the first time when we meet in heaven and I will finally get to hold you in my arms. Grandma Lannigan.

Willie’s Story

Little William, to us he would always be Willie, began his life’s journey on Feb 26 2004. He was born at Virginia Beach General Hospital, in Virginia Beach, VA. On Feb 28 he came home to begin his life with his family. He was dressed in a little yellow and white outfit which his grandma McKague had picked out earlier for his homecoming outfit. After his brothers Matthew and Kelsey and his sister Rebecca met him he took a short nap in his brand new crib. He was still in his little yellow outfit and his grandmother took this opportunity to take many pictures of him. How little and precious he looked and so tiny. As time went on many more pictures would be taken of Willie and all of his family. They along with the videos would become Willie’s legacy and he will forever live on for these and the many memories are all we have of him until we meet again in Heaven.

What a special little boy he was but what a little temper he had (McMahon’s temperament we would always say lol). But he was such a happy and loving little boy which more than made up for this. He loved to play with his brothers and sister and this made his day. His brother Kelsey was only 2½ years older than Willie so they played and did so many things together. Though Kelsey started school a little sooner than Willie this didn’t stop little Willie from escorting him to the bus every morning sometimes getting on the bus before Kelsey could. I didn’t know this until later when his mom told me, but sometimes the bus driver would give him a ride around the block on her bus before she left for school because he wanted to go to school so bad but just wasn’t old enough. This didn’t stop Willie though he managed to get on the bus somehow anyway and when his turn came to ride the bus and go to school he was the happiest and proudest little guy ever and best of all his buddy and older brother Kelsey was sitting right beside him. You hardly ever saw Kelsey without William around or William without Kelsey around. They did almost everything together. They played together, laughed together, fought like little tigers together but oh how much they loved each other. Rebecca was the big sister always looking out for all of the boys with love only a big sister could have. Matthew was the oldest brother. The man of the house, but such a wonderful companion to William, Kelsey, and his big sister Rebecca.

To be continued by Willie’s Daddy, Mommy, Aunt Shirley and his cousins.

The sweetest welcome from the Father
Gathered up and carried home
We are past this time of waiting
Come let us bow before Your throne

Never can the powers of darkness
Neither death nor even life
Let nothing ever separate us
From the holy love of God

We will meet in the Golden City in the New Jerusalem
All our pain and all our tears will be no more
We will stand with the hosts of heaven
And cry holy is the Lamb
We will worship and adore You evermore

Love,
Uncle Kenny & Auntie Shirley

I never got the chance to meet William, but from listening to his Aunt Shirley, he was an amazing little boy. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Just know he's in heaven now. Watching over you all.

God Bless You!

In the blink of an eye, you were taken from us without such as a goodbye.
A million words would not bring you back,I know I've tried. And neither would a million tears, I know I've cried.
I never would have imagined you would have to leave us so soon, but you are in a better place with God far beyond the stars and the moon.
As the days go by and the thought of seeing you again grows near, never seeing you again was my biggest fear.
I know there will be a time for us to meet, so I will wait patiently feeling the heat.
So today this may be a temporary speration, until I reach my destination.
Goodbye Willie with all my Love, you will Never be forgotten.
Love,
Linda Bonin

Almighty Father. Thank you for receiving little William into your loving arms. Unto you we give our trust and I will see William in heaven when it is my turn to leave.
But as He which has called you is Holy, so be ye Holy in all manner of conversation, because it is written. Be ye Holy, for I am Holy.

I am deeply sorrowful to hear my great grandbaby William is no longer with us here on earth; but at the same time I am overly rejoicing to know he is now with his other family in Heaven. Sometimes we never know why things like this happen and are only left with the impression that God needed him more. We will meet again soon one day my lovely William.
