Hey Rob,
I am sorry that I could not attend any of the ceremonies that celebrated your fathers life, but my thoughts were with you during this time. Having recently lost my father, I can truly appreciate your sorrow at his passing, and your relief that his suffering is ended. While I did not know your father well, I expect that he was a special man. The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

Friends Forever,

I had the honor of working with Robert at the Hampton Roads Tunnels for a number of years. Robert was a wonderful, christian man. He NEVER in all his 34 years at VDOT missed an off duty call!! Robert & Nancy are together now, and as it should be. God Bless his family during this trying time. Our prayers and good wishes are with you all.
