Lois M. Malkowski

Virginia Beach - Lois M. Malkowski, 76, of Doctor Drive passed away February 28, 2014. She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Golinsky and the loving wife of 54 years to the late Bob Malkowski. Lois and Bob were founding members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, worked in the church kitchen and was former president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Father Nicholas J. Habets Council # 4632.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert D. Malkowski, John J. Malkowski (Kathie) and Donald M. Malkowski; grandchildren, Jacob Malkowski (Meghan) and Rebekah Malkowski; great-grandchild, Ethan Jacob Malkowski; and sisters, Mary Stang (Thomas) and Peg Snyder (George).

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Reverend Timothy M. Kuhneman officiating. A Christian Wake service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved Bob at Albert G. Horton, Jr. State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. At the request of the family memorial donations may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church or the Father Nicholas J. Habets Knights of Columbus Council #4632. Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake will be caring for arrangements.
