Dwain Sharp

Portsmouth - Dwain Sharp also known as "Doc"departed this life on March 2, 2014. He was employed as an Engineer for over 30 years with Norfolk and Portsmouth Beltline. Dwain was a Trustee at Deep Creek Church of Christ D. O. C. and also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Sons of Solomon.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Emma Floyd-Sharp; daughter, Dwaina Sharp; son, Dwain Nepton; stepdaughters, Saneal Bethea, Tiffany Brooks (Keith), Chiquita Wright (Byron); sister, Brenda Peterson (Elvis) and a brother, Elijah Sharp, III; and six grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Friday, March 7 from 4 until 7 p.m. at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1248 N George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at New Light Baptist Church, 2814 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA. The family has entrusted J. T.
