Ann Marie Osborne|
Virginia Beach - Ann Marie Osborne of Dawley Road died March 18 after a short illness. She was
78. A native of Norfolk, she resided for most of her life in Virginia Beach where
she was very active in St. John's Baptist Church including being a member of WMU and the Ruth Sunday School class. She also greatly enjoyed her Red Hat group.
She was a long time member of Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron of the Lynnhaven Chapter in the mid 70s. She retired from many years of dedicated civil service at Dam Neck Guided Missile School.
She is survived by her husband, Billy, of 61 years, her daughter, Tina, and her
son, Keith. She is also survived by her sister, Linda, and her two brothers,
Joe and David as well as her grandchildren, Joseph, Stephanie, Kristen, Sarah,
Megan, and Will and three great granddaughters.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00a.m. Friday March 21, 2014 at the Laskin Road Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Burial will be at Princess Anne Memorial Park in Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 until 8 p.m. Following services there will be a reception at St. John's Baptist Church.
