Rosemarie I Eubanks

Norfolk - Rosemarie I. Eubanks, 88, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2014. She was born in Berlin, Germany on March 1, 1926. Rosemarie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to read her Bible, quilt, knit and spend time with her family and friends. She attended Tabernacle Church of Norfolk for 40 years and Avalon Hills Bible Church for several years. She was saved in September 1966 having conversations over the fence with her neighbor, Yvonne. Rosemarie was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Eubanks in 2004 and her parents Wilhelm and Paula Heim. Left to cherish her memory her sons: David A. Eubanks and his wife Gwen of San Jose, Calif., Stephen R. Eubanks and his wife Elizabeth of Williamsburg, daughter: Norma Jean Schleck and her husband Stephen of Richmond, grandchildren: Matthew B. Eubanks, Michael A. Eubanks, Stephen L. Eubanks and Jacob Eubanks and great-grandchild Caleb, Hayden, and Avery. Family will receive friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA on Wednesday, April 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. The Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with interment following in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. David Rieke will officiate. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.woodlawngroup.com. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to New Fire for Christ Norfolk, Va., 501 West 35th Street Norfolk, VA. 23508.
