Virginia Beach - Eusebia Z. Elszy (Sue) 69, affectionally known by her family as "Chella," went up to the Lord peacefully on Divine Mercy Sunday April 27, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Stockton, Texas to her parents Geronimo and Juanita Zubia. Her parents and brother Felix Zubia preceded Eusebia in death.

Known as Sue by her many friends, she was devoted to helping the less fortunate. Sue served as chairperson volunteer with the Red Cross while in Naples, Italy. Her grandchildren, nieces and nephews all enjoyed her playing and reading to them as young children.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Robert G. Elszy; two daughters, Kriss Ann Steele of Fresno, CA., and Margie Bensching of Spokane, WA; son, Mark Elszy of Leesburg, VA.; six grandchildren, Christopher, Caroline, Robert, Audrey, Richie and Teddy; seven sisters, Cruz Z.
