Thurston Clements

Montpelier - Thurston "Clem" Ward Clements, 61, passed away April 27, 2014. He was born in Chesapeake, Va. the son of Garnett and Nancy Clements. He was a United States Army veteran. Clem was the owner and operator of C & M Construction Company. Clem is survived by his wife of 40 years, Phyllis U. Clements; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Tom Mayhew; grandchildren, Emily Carmona, Brittany Mayhew, and Austin Mayhew; great grandson, Skyler Mayhew; sister, Roberta Waterfield; brother, Jerry Clements; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434. Burial will follow at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation Tuesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the at 4416 Expressway Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
