E. Frances Norman

Suffolk - Emma Frances Norman, 85, went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2014. Frances was the daughter of the late Ethel and Fred Fletcher. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 37 years Edward C. Norman and two children Galen and David Norman.

Frances was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, and the Chancel Choir, the Prime Time Singers and the Red Hat Society. She worked at Belk's for 20 years.

She is survived by a daughter Karen Gunter and husband Steve of Suffolk; sons Tim Norman and wife Karen, and Kelvin Norman and wife Kim, all of Smithfield; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Main Street United Methodist Church, 202 North Main Street, Suffolk, Virginia at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, by Rev. Myrtle Hatcher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, Memorial Fund, 202 N. Main Street, Suffolk, VA 23434.
