Carl O. Lambert, Sr.

Norfolk - Carl Oliver Lambert,Sr. of Norfolk, Va., passed on June 27, 2014, at the age of 98. He was born in Norfolk on February 3, 1916, to the late Gury and Mary Lambert. In that union three children were born, Carl Lambert, Jr. of Chesapeake, Catherine Jones of Hampton, and the late Ronald Lambert of Norfolk.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters: Fannie Stancil and Mary Artis, one brother: Hubert Lambert, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

He was the "Wind Beneath the Wings" of his family and friends.

The church service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church located at 745 Park Avenue, Norfolk, on July 3, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may view Mr. Lambert at Hale Funeral Home at 2100 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on July 2, 2014.
