Richard E. Narducci

Chesapeake - Richard Edmund Narducci, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 27, 2014. He was retired from Verizon as a foreman after 31 years of service, and was more recently employed by Monarch Bank. Born in Norfolk, VA, he is the son of Charles Carmen Narducci and the late Ann Marie Walsh Narducci. Rick loved the Chesapeake Jubilee and was a volunteer for the past 25 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 18 years, Laurie; a daughter, Julie Ann Gray and her husband Adrian; a son, Richard Paul Narducci all of Chesapeake; his father and his wife, Imogene of Suffolk; a brother, Charles "Chuck" Narducci and his wife, Sue of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Eleanor Narducci Harrell and her husband, Stephen of Chesapeake and Barbara Narducci Lane Guthrie and her husband, John of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Angel Brianna Gray, Ariel Jade Gray, and Larah Rae Narducci; a special niece, Charlene Parr and her husband, Robb; numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws, Eric William Ewell and wife, Gloria of Goshen, VA, and Robert J. and Dorothy P. Allen of Sedley, VA; two sister-in-law, Cathy A. Bradshaw and Cheryl A. Starke; and his beloved pet Pomeranians, Harley Davidson, Bandit Gage, and Carmen Cornelius.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 at the Chesapeake Chapel of H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts. with Pastor Tom Mercer officiating. Online condolences may be offered to the family through www.hdoliver.com.
