Curtis L. Stewart CHESAPEAKE - Curtis Lee Stewart, 43, of Chesapeake Avenue, passed away peacefully Aug. 27, 2009. He was born March 11, 1966, in Norfolk to Robert E. Stewart and Ruth Stewart Eason. A 1984 graduate of Great Bridge High School, he worked for many years as a national executive trainer for Home Interiors and Gifts Inc. He was well known for his creative talents and motivational speaking. Left to cherish his memory are his loving partner of 24 years, Ken Alford; his parents; his sister, Penny Stewart; three brothers, Jeff Stewart and his wife Donna, Sam Eason and his wife Jessica and Jim Eason and his wife Kari; a special friend, David Moffitt; several nieces and nephews; other family members; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, James E. Eason Sr. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in River Oak Church, 255 Great Bridge Blvd., Chesapeake, with the Rev. Heath Burris officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. and at the home of his mother, Ruth Eason, 1317 Fordyce Drive, Chesapeake at all other times.
